OIHI Open House April 2025

Overview:  

We are thrilled to invite you to the Ontario Institute of Health and Innovation (OIHI) Open House! This exciting event is your opportunity to explore our campus, participate in interactive sessions, and gain firsthand insights into our Personal Support Worker (PSW), and Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) programs. 

Discover cutting-edge facilities, hear from industry experts about growing career opportunities in health care and education, and receive personalized support from our Admissions team to guide your application process. 

What to Expect:

• Campus tours: See our labs and hands-on learning spaces.
• Explore careers: Learn about the jobs in health care and early childhood education.
• Meet our faculty and Academic team: Connect with instructors and members of the Academic team to learn about course content and teaching style or join a mock class for PSW and ECA.
• Admissions support: Meet with our Admissions team to start or finalize your application.
• Financial aid guidance: Discuss your options with a Financial Aid Officers (FAO).
• Get enrolment support: Our Enrolment team will guide you through the next steps.
• Intragrad Representatives: Intragrad Members will also be present to assist you during the event.
• Academic team: Program Overview and Mock Class with the Academic Leads for the PSW and ECA programs. 
• Ask immigration questions: Meet with our Immigration Student Advising (ISA) team for one-on-one advice.

4 - 7 p.m. – Application support 

4 - 4:45 p.m. – Early Childhood Education program overview and mock class 

4:45  - 5 p.m. – Accessibility Services at OIHI 

5 - 5:50 p.m.  – Personal Support Worker program overview and mock class 

6 - 6:15 p.m. – Navigating OSAP and other financial aid opportunities 

6:20 - 7 p.m.  – Application support
